WEAVR AI — Enhanced Virtual Assistant (EVA)
EVA (Enhanced Virtual Assistant) is the umbrella for the Artificial Intelligence features of WEAVR. It groups together the AI modules and connects them so they can assist you across the whole lifecycle of a procedure — from authoring to execution and evaluation.
EVA currently includes these modules:
| Module | Where it runs | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| WEAVR AI | Creator (Editor) | A conversational assistant and agent that helps you understand and edit a procedure. It can both answer questions and perform authoring actions on your behalf. |
| DAISY | Scene (Runtime) | A domain assistant that guides the trainee step by step while executing a procedure. |
WEAVR AI assists you while authoring a procedure in the Creator, while DAISY assists the user at runtime inside the scene. Together they cover editing, execution and final evaluation of procedures.
Requirements
The AI modules rely on Large Language Models. To use WEAVR AI you need a valid OpenAI API key (which is typically a paid service). DAISY can use either a hosted service or an on-premises deployment — see the DAISY page for details.
AI models evolve continuously. The behavior, supported models and exact interface of these modules may change between WEAVR releases.
